Kimberly Bower

关于作者

Kimberly Bower, a lifelong animal advocate, wrote this story to inspire compassion toward community cats and raise awareness about Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR). Based on a true story, she hopes this book will honor the real-life Tuna and Sushi and community cats everywhere who are in need of understanding and love, while normalizing TNR as the best solution to managing unowned cat populations all over the world. Through this beautiful children’s picture book, Bower has crafted a heartwarming and clever story about community cats with subtle themes of TNR artfully woven in, showing that community cats deserve a place in our society. Kimberly Bower works in the farm animal protection field and volunteers in animal policy/legislation. She lives in San Diego, CA, where she does cat rescue and TNR on the side. Tuna and Sushi is her first children’s book. She is very grateful for your support!
