Kimberly Wilkes is the co-author of Eastern Sierra And Death Valley Camping With Privacy and Lake Tahoe Camping With Privacy. She had the idea to write a Camping With Privacy series when she reserved a campsite online thinking it would be far away from the neighbors. Instead, it was across an open meadow in full sight of the people camped next door. Another time she could hear the man camped in the space next door snoring all night. Other times she camped next to people who kept their lamp on until late at night, preventing her from star gazing. "My husband, Patrick, and I created the Camping With Privacy book series so other campers would be less likely to have those experiences." Kimberly is a freelance writer who has had more than 600 articles published in places like Sierra Living, Mountain Living, Alaska Airlines Magazine, Sacramento Magazine, Nevada Magazine, and many more. Under her maiden name of Kimberly Pryor, she wrote The Indestructible Relationship, which the Electronic Publishing Industry Coalition named the best ebook of 2012.
