Drives Me Batty, but it's a Fun Game
As a games progresses it gets more difficult, which of course is a no brainer. I have given up on progressing in this game several time. Finally, month or so ago, I decided to try again (I'm not much of a quitter). Now I am on level 262. So, yes, as the title says, the game drives me nuts, but I love the feel it gives when I have think and strategize. .

    Such an exciting game! I absolutely love it—definitely my favorite game ever. So addictive. I’m still hooked, and the break on the cost of apps is a big help. Now I can play even more. Love it. I’ve been away for a bit, but it’s great to be back. Still loving it!

    I thoroughly enjoy this game! It can be a stimulating challenge, but it keeps me engaged and entertained throughout. I absolutely LOVE the jazzy new music that is used. It makes me want to play just to hear the music!

    Update on the update: yes, you've updated the game, Amazon app store tech support. No, it HASN'T fixed the problem - in fact it seems to have made it worse! There's STILL no connection to Facebook - even when the app SAYS it's connected - because the 15 lives that my facebook friends have gifted me since three days ago (that haven't been used at ALL) are STILL not showing up in the app on my Fire. They show up just fine on my Note 4 (which, incidentally, is running the Google Play Store version), but Heaven forbid I wanna use them on my Fire, as I'm obviously $+! t outta luck there! STILL no good, Amazon!

    I contacted Amazon over a month ago to complain that the app does NOT stay connected to my Facebook account, and had to struggle through explaining all of this to an agent that was clearly a non-native English speaker, which only added to the frustration. On to a call back a week later from the same agent who sounded as if she was reading from a script, and spoke without pausing for response for so long that I gave up even attempting to speak, confirm her statements, or do anything else that required the use of my voice. Yet here I am a full month (at LEAST) later, and I am STILL seeing the SAME ISSUES!

    I've found a very reliable way to install games only found on the Google Play Store to my Fire (via a Google search on the topic - just go ahead and give 'em your email address - it's worth the information traded), and have done so with many other apps that I have running on my Fire. At this point, I'm ready to just uninstall this frustratingly STILL wonky app from the Amazon app store, and just go back to my unofficial - BUT FULLY FUNCTIONAL - version from Google Play. At least THEN I'd know that when it tells me I'm connected, it'd actually be correct, not stuck in some ambiguous and thoroughly annoying limbo!

    It's a great game, just not when you get it here! Far more fun than the original Candy Crush, with what seems to be better options for moving around the boards, just don't bother with the version found here.

    Overall, I've been playing this game for years and it's still enjoyable. Sure, some levels are brutal and require power-ups or numerous tries, but there are plenty of ways to earn power-ups without spending money. However, I'm disappointed with a recent change to the shipmates mini-game. Previously, I would earn a pin for the board every time I won a level, but now, even after winning three levels, I didn't get any pins. You can get by in the game without spending much at first, but once you reach higher levels, it's nearly impossible to pass without using boosters or buying extra moves. If I can't beat a level within five tries, it really gets to me. One major issue I've noticed is that when the game offers extra moves by watching ads after a level, the third ad often doesn't load properly. This means I miss out on the extra moves from the ads I did manage to watch. To fix this, I have to close and reopen the game before trying the level again. The higher levels are seriously tough—I'm currently stuck on level 3500. The game doesn't freeze much, but sometimes it doesn't load fully, although that's not a huge deal for me. It's just really frustrating when I get stuck on those insanely hard levels. The game's algorithm does reward you for making smart moves, but one mistake can seriously limit your options and make things even tougher.
    Apparently, now you have to play with others and win, which doesn't appeal to me. Sometimes when I open the game, the buttons for my teams, the race, and Mr. Toffee disappear. To fix it, I have to uninstall and reinstall the app, which means losing my daily sign-in streak and starting over at day one. Recently, I was supposed to receive a gift of 12 hours of unlimited lives, which showed up in my game. However, when I lost a level, I discovered I had no lives left at all. It's really frustrating when things like that happen.
