Kris Taft Miller

Kris Taft Miller joined Walt Disney Feature Animation directly out of college. She spent seven years there, the first three in the Orlando studio and the remaining four in Los Angeles. She held a variety of roles in the Disney Animation Studio including graphic designer, art director, producer, writer, presenter and editor. Her film credits include Lilo & Stitch, Treasure Planet, Brother Bear, Home on the Range, Chicken Little and Meet the Robinsons. She moved to North Carolina in 2004 to be with her husband, Jeremy. Kris started her own graphic design company, KT Design, LLC, and continues to freelance for Disney as well as a large variety of other clients around the world. Her specialties include e-learning, logos, web and collateral design, book covers and layouts, countless print projects and more. Kris also runs a successful educational materials line for elementary school teachers under her Print Designs by Kris label. Working on her own book projects as well as her two son’s book projects is one of her very favorite things to do!
