Kristin Yu

Kristin was born and raised in a small town in China. She completed her primary and secondary education in China. She migrated to Melbourne, Australia to study in the University. She immersed in the multicultural city of Melbourne where she lives and loves, she explores diverse cultures and landscapes across Australia. She self-published five children’s books that aid in children's understanding and mastery of basic Chinese characters, thereby adding diversity to children's literature. She is an author of bilingual children's book "Let's learn" series written in Chinese, Pinyin and English and more. She is a trained Montessori preschool educator and She is passionate about sharing her Chinese culture and heritage and teaching children Chinese in a fun and engaging way using Montessori inspired methods. Kristin developed a deep love for her original culture and, after giving birth to three children, she devoted her time and effort to helping children understand and connect with their origins.
