Krystn Shrieve is an award-winning writer who spent more than a decade as a reporter and editor at newspapers throughout Southern California, where she wrote about disasters, murder, betrayal, heartache and luckily, the goodness, love and triumph of people whose stories will remain with her forever. Today she guides the branding, marketing and communications endeavors of a San Diego university that's routinely chosen as the most beautiful campus in the nation. Krystn grew up on a 225-acre cattle ranch in small Northern California town where she was raised by cowboys who taught her to roll up her sleeves, ride horses, drive tractors, get her hands dirty and take a bull by the horns. She lives with her husband, two daughters and three dogs in San Diego. This is her debut book.
