L. L. Leatutufu

关于作者

L.L. Leatutufu loves to galivant around the world to eat, play, and explore other cultures with her family. After having her son, Ehsan she recognized there was a need for Black, Indigenous children of color to be represented in books as the main protagonist; especially African American males. Ehsan goes to Paris is the first book from her children’s series. She believes her stories celebrate and represent children of color as well as foster the imagination of children who desire to go. She is excited to share her book series with all the children in the world who have a wanderlust spirit. L.L. Leatutufu is a working mom from the Bay Area, she works with justice-involved youth with intentions to dismantle broken systems and radiate light where there’s despair. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from San Francisco State University and her Master of Public Administration degree from California State University, East Bay. She considers her son to be her master teacher.  L.L. Leatutufu and her son Ehsan host an Annual Pajama-Book Donation and Fundraiser called Ehsan Isaiah’s Meaalofa (Meaalofa meaning “Gift of Love” in Samoan) to help families living in marginalized communities in the Bay Area.
