As an Artist I have been drawing since I was a little girl. I began keeping journals after my children were born. My first children's picture book was a true story that I shared with my young sons. After a long cold winter, we went out in early spring searching for the robin, becoming In Search of the Robin. That book inspired me to write and illustrate my next picture book, Mother's Memories. A tribute to mother's and the joys of motherhood. After that I wrote and illustrated, The Witch of Daisy Down Ditch. The story of a cranky but lovable witch whose life is transformed through kindness, love and friendship. It was so rewarding as an Artist to illustrate and write these stories I found myself inspired to write children chapter books as well. The Christmas Doll and its sequel, Hydrangea Hill. Over the years all my children's picture books were on my bookshelf in my home. I just recently published on Amazon except for, In Search of the Robin, which was published in 2000. I also started publishing recently my short stories as ebook quick reads. For me it has been as an Artist very fulfilling to remain creative and now to be able to share my illustrations, books and short stories on Amazon.
