Lance Akiyama

Lance Akiyama is an avid tinkerer, maker, and voted Most Likely to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse. He has over a decade of experience creating hands-on activities for K-8 kids, and publishes many of them for free at www.stem-inventions.com. Lance is the author of the book Rubber Band Engineer, Duct Tape Engineer, Launchers, Lobbers, and Rockets Engineer, and The Zoom Fly Bolt Blast STEAM Handbook. In his spare time he develops plans for elaborate contraptions, writes in cryptic backwards handwriting, and flies by strapping homemade paper wings to his arms and leaping from rooftops.
