Larry O'Brien

关于作者

Larry O'Brien was born in Glendale, California, and raised in Eagle Rock, a neighboring suburb of Los Angeles. There he graduated from Eagle Rock High School. After high school, he got a job in the mail room of Security Pacific Bank and worked his way through college while serving in the United States Naval Reserve. He eventually graduated from California State University Long Beach and transferred to the International Banking Department where he rose to the position of assistant vice-president as a foreign exchange trader. When the bank merged with Bank of America in 1991, the author and several of his colleagues were encouraged to seek other employment. Twenty years and several other employment opportunities later, he retired. Through a mutual acquaintance, he met the renowned private investigator and author Nils Grevillius. Nils offered Larry the opportunity to obtain a private investigator’s license through his tutelage. Larry did just that and has worked off and on for Nils ever since. It was Nils’s writing efforts that inspired Larry to write his first novel, Cornero’s Gold. Larry still lives in Glendale, California.
