Laura Nathan-Garner

Laura Nathan-Garner is the author of Insiders' Guide to Houston (Globe Pequot Press, 2009 and 2012) and Day Trips from Houston, 13th edition (Globe Pequot Press, 2010). Laura is communications manager at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, where she manages the instition's social media program and edits the Cancerwise blog (www.cancerwise.org). Laura Nathan-Garner has also contributed to four books and dozens of magazines, including Redbook and Cooking Light. Laura lives in Houston with her husband, daughter, and a slightly neurotic beagle.
