Laura Thayer

Laura Thayer is an American writer living on Italy's beautiful Amalfi Coast. When she first visited the Amalfi Coast in 2007, it was love at first sight for Amalfi … and for her tour guide! She moved there the following year after finishing a Masters in Art History, and has been exploring and writing about the region ever since. She lives in the historic heart of Amalfi with that tour guide, now her husband, and their two fluffy cats. As the only English-speaking travel writer based full-time on the Amalfi Coast, she contributes to various online and print publications, including Italia! Magazine and Dream of Italy, as well as her own website, CiaoAmalfi.com.
