Lea Altea Winnen is a multifaceted artist, children's book author, and illustrator. She employs a variety of styles, including surrealism and abstraction. Her artistic mediums range from acrylic and watercolor to pastel and charcoal. She has a passion for experimenting with materials and styles that capture her interest. Her motto is, "Creativity can open one's heart and soul to truly see the world and all its beauty." Residing in Italy with her husband and two young children, she self-publishes her children's picture books and activity books online. With over 20 years of experience in various preschool environments and more than 3 years as an Occupational Therapy Assistant for young children, she possesses a deep understanding of child development.
