Lee Trawick

Lee Trawick is an Author and Actuary from Frisco, Texas. His love of advanced math began as a 16 year old when he took calculus at the local junior college. His college professor, Dr. Mike Panahi, opened his mind to the way of the math jedi. Since then, he obtained a bachelor's degree in math from the University of Texas at Dallas and then completed the SOA Associate Actuary exams over the course of 6 grueling years. His life vision is to improve the quality of life and he writes a books when he believes there is an opportunity to help someone else out. He has since left the tame life of an actuary to pursue a sexier career in data science and startups. He loves singing rock, winning hackathons, and telling himself that Caltech will recruit him one day for a secret manned mission to the cosmic microwave background.
