Leo Nieves

Leonardo Nieves es un Ilustrador, director de arte y animador 2D de Caracas-Venezuela que a mediados de 2010 junto al escritor Nacho Palacios conforma el sello MEOLLO CRIOLLO creando humorismo gráfico (premio PEDRO LEON ZAPATA al mejor caricaturista de la prensa Venezolana de ese año). en 2013 publica su primer libro "Meollo Criollo: Reír para no llorar" (libros el Nacional), al mismo tiempo publican las tiras cómicas "Ale y Lelita" y "Cero Rollo" en el Diario el Nacional que luego recopilan en cuatro volúmenes coleccionables. Incursiona ilustrando cuentos infantiles con "¿A quién se le escribe La Carta de Navidad?"(2015), siguiendo con: "¿A dónde se fue la Carta de Navidad?(2016), "¿Dónde está Venezuela?"(2017), "¿Dónde está Venezuela?, Segundo Viaje"(2019) y el más reciente "¿Dónde está Venezuela?, Tercer Viaje" (2020). ******* Illustrator, Art Director and 2D Animator from Caracas-Venezuela who In mid-2010, joined Nacho Palacios and created the brand MEOLLO CRIOLLO focussing on graphic humor (PEDRO LEON ZAPATA award for the best cartoonist of the Venezuelan press of that year). "(2017),"Where is Venezuela ?, Second Journey" (2019) and the most recent "Where is Venezuela ?, Third Journey" (2020) .
