Leon Errol Swanson

This author is founder and director of Bema Outreach Ministries, Inc., Upper Marlboro, MD. He hosts the CAYA (come as you are) Men’s Fellowship for ex-offenders in Baltimore MD monthly. He monthly publishes CAYA Good News!, an online newsletter. He holds a Diploma in General Bible Studies from Liberty University, a Bachelor of Christian Ministry degree and a Master of Pastoral Counseling degree from Chesapeake Bible College & Seminary. He is a Board-certified Professional Clinical Counselor, sanctioned by National Christian Counselors Association, Sarasota Florida. Born on Fort Bragg in North Carolina, he is the firstborn of seven children, and a decorated veteran for his service as a combat paramedic in Vietnam. A secular recording artist for sixteen years prior to his life-changing encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ in 1982, he has written nearly 300 songs and he has recorded three solo inspirational albums to date. Active prison ministry for 33 years, he is the father of three adult daughters, one adult son, and grandfather of six.
