Leonard Snyder

Leonard Snyder was born in Minnesota in 1952. He has lived and worked around the US and in several other countries. He has returned to Minnesota and currently resides in the Twin Cities, where he is a professor of education, psychotherapist, nonviolence advocate, and author. He is the founder of the Minnesota Center for Nonviolence. He believes that everyone deserves to live at peace in a safe and just world. He wants his future obituary to read "Leonard helped individuals and communities develop the skills and resources to live nonviolently in a complex world". He will settle for "He gave it his best shot!"
