Lesley Appleton-Jones

Born and raised in England, Lesley has been lucky to live in Minnesota, California and Massachusetts. She now resides in New Hampshire–a state she loves–where she spends time skiing in the White Mountains in winter and walking Hampton Beach at low tide in the summer. Her life has meandered through a variety of jobs, hobbies and extraordinary locales that seemed to have no rhyme or reason until she decided to write and needed ideas for stories. Looking back over the years, she realized her love of storytelling began long ago when she made up ghost stories to scare the hell out of her sisters. She feels fortunate to share a life with a wonderful husband, a large circle of family and friends, and her treat-seeking, chocolate Labrador.
