Leslie Basil Payne

Leslie Basil Payne's writing has appeared in several anthologies including Guideposts' "Expecting Miracles" and Dr. Gary Chapman's "Love is a Verb." Her magazine articles are often seen in her hometown magazine "Outlook By the Bay." And Focus on the Family's magazine featured her article "Aching for Compassion" which outlined ways to care for someone with chronic pain. Since an automobile accident in 2001, she has lived with daily pain. A life long voracious reader, Leslie is now focused on the craft of fiction writing. To her there is nothing better than getting lost in a good book. "The Legacy of Nobody Smith" is her first novel. She is a member of ACFW - American Christian Fiction Writers - and lives outside of Baltimore with her wonderful retired Air Force Officer husband.
