Liezl Shnookal

Liezl Shnookal is an award-winning Australian author and an extraordinary storyteller. In January 2024, she received the prestigious Literary Titan Gold Book Award for each of her latest novels, 'Nikki vs Jess' and 'Off Track'. One of her short stories, 'Sitting beside Black Saturday Bushfire Survivors', was honoured in the Writers’ Web short story writing competition in 2013, and is included in a diverse collection of short stories entitled 'Fiddling While Rome Burns'. Residing on acreage near Naarm/Melbourne, Liezl Shnookal draws inspiration from her surroundings and experiences to create compelling stories about a variety of issues.
