Lillian Tibbles PhD

Lillian Tibbles, PhD, is an author and retired psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner and family therapist. She received both a master’s degree and PhD from the University of Connecticut. As a graduate student in the early ‘80s, she used a mainframe computer, at the university, to analyze data and write her dissertation. Thus, began her interest in the benefits of technology. She has published articles about the use of computers for patient education and three books about video call with children. Her three grandchildren living far away inspired her interest in video chat.
