关于作者

The author (1952-) was born and grew up in New Zealand. Seeking more than a 9 - 5 job, I joined the army at 16 and was posted overseas. Afterward, working and traveling in Australia, the author soon departed and arrived in South Africa in 1973. Curious to see Rhodesia, a country pilloried by the world, I ended up as an assistant manager on a tobacco farm in Centenary, the epicenter of an emerging guerrilla war. This stage I detailed in my book 'Sitting Target'. Afterward I joined the police and fought the increasingly savage war till the end in 1980, detailed in 'Bandit Mentality.' I returned to Australia and worked in senior management and as a business owner. I am now retired living on The Queensland coast.
