Dr. Lindsey Godwin

关于作者

Lindsey Godwin, Ph.D., is a world-class possibilitizer—which is just a fancy way of saying she helps people and organizations figure out how to be their best. As a keynote speaker, consultant, and educator, her superpower is helping others see the potential they forgot they had (or never knew was there). With a master’s degree from the Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution at George Mason University and a Ph.D. from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, Lindsey’s credentials shine as brightly as her positive approach to transformational change. By day, Lindsey is the Robert P. Stiller Endowed Chair of Management at Champlain College, where she also leads the David L. Cooperrider Center for Appreciative Inquiry. She’s collaborated with everyone from global powerhouses like the U.N. and the Red Cross to local legends like Ben & Jerry’s (because who doesn’t love ice cream and positive change?), making her a go-to global expert in strengths-based change. Champlain College honored her with the Edward Lyman Phelps Professorship—their highest faculty recognition and a classy way of saying, “You’re kind of a big deal around here!” As a writer, Lindsey keeps busy. Her collaboration with co-author David Cooperrider on Our Earthshot Moment was named one of the "18 Essential Organization Development Articles of All Time" (she’s still pinching herself over that one). Her inaugural children’s book, How Do You Love a Question?, invites readers of all ages to rediscover their curiosity and love for inquiry. Lindsey also shares her insights in her Psychology Today blog, Possibilitizing, where she brings the science of psychology to life, offering practical wisdom for navigating the everyday challenges we all face. Her latest adventure? Serving as the founding partner of Bellflower Street, LLC, where she helps individuals and organizations break free from what’s holding them back and transform potential into meaningful progress. Believing that life’s too short for unnecessary obligations, Lindsey has also teamed up with her co-authors to rally women everywhere with their new book, Ditch the Ditty: Doing What Matters Instead of Doing It All.
