From 2010-2018, and born out of the mortgage crises, Realtor Lisa Snyder created and ran a Canine Adventure business and called it Dog Day Afternoon. The premise was to have dogs “be who they are”, by running unrestrained with the PAC (playful active canines) in local parklands, private yards and fields, so that they could experience maximum exercise, maximum joy and a lot of socialization. This resulted in happier and more fulfilled dogs. These regular ‘adventures’ completely satisfied the PAC giving them something to look forward to, and the ability to make friends. They were so well exercised that their lives were forever changed. Lisa was also changed, and those 8 years in the woods were extremely enlightening, resulting in the book NOSES IN THE WIND: HOW TO CREATE THE BEST LIFE FOR YOUR DOG AND MAKE A FOREVER HOME. This project helps BOTH new and seasoned dog owners deliver a more full-bodied life to their dog. Most importantly, Lisa knows just how important it is to never misinterpret a dogs behavior and wrongly decide to get rid of them,. Lisa feels that there are too many people that acquire these sentient creatures for the wrong reasons, do NOT get it right and surrender their beloved dog. Lisa hope that as many people as possible read and share this book.
