Lisa Baker has been teaching music and theater for 15 years. She has always enjoyed writing, starting with her high school creative writing class, which mostly has been a pastime until recently. She graduated from Grand Canyon University, summa cum laude, with her B.S. in Elementary Education with an Emphasis in English while working and helping raise kids. She lives in Southern California with her husband of 28 years. They have two adult children who have enjoyed the family's annual Christmas letter in the form of a poem that Lisa always writes. When she's not traveling with her husband, or teaching her students, Lisa also enjoys performing at the local community theaters in her area. She also works for a children's theater company where she is currently a set designer, having directed and stage managed previously.
