Lisa Jones is an arts and crafts enthusiast, a thoughtful mother, and a smitten and dreamer wife. She was born and raised in Denver, Colorado, in 1980, where she still lives with her family. Lisa owes her passion for crafting to her grandma. The elderly woman had fantastic knitting and crocheting talent, always making her granddaughter's eyes sparkle as she observed her in the process. Lisa started by following her grandma's footsteps with embroidery, crochet, and knitting but soon realized that technology had far more to offer. When the first Cricut Machine came out, Lisa immediately became hooked, learning early on everything she needed to know to create unique crafts that would stand the test of time. She started by creating objects for her family, then for relatives and friends, and little by little She understood that for her this world was more than a hobby. Growing up, she also got into interior design and fashion, finally getting the Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Studies degree program. After starting her career as a designer for a well-known fashion brand, at some point, her life changed. She worked long hours and was completely dedicated to her work, but something changed after a very complicated pregnancy and having her first baby. She realized that she didn't want to live only to work and could find a way to express her creativity differently, turning his passion into a real job. Needless to say, Lisa bought every successive machine, becoming a true guru of the Cricut world! Over the years she has also deepened his knowledge for other hobbies such as crocheting, knitting, macramé, sewing, and other DIY hobbies, of which she has quickly become an expert. Today, Lisa considers herself lucky: she has turned her passion into her job. She spends her days immersed in her "atelier" and in "her small proven art and craft school for adults" who want to unleash their creativity. Also through her books, she aims to provide a real roadmap for all women who, like her, want to raise happy children, cultivate their passions, and, why not, also make an economic contribution to the family. Her students say Lisa can pull creativity out of any beginner, even one with no gifts, thanks to her sweet way of teaching and the passion she puts into it
