Lisa Noël Babbage was born in Philadelphia and grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. She started her second career as an educator in DeKalb County Public Schools and has gone on to become a adjunct professor and veteran teacher. She wrote her autobiography "333 Miracles" in 2011, which was rereleased in 2018 under her own publishing company, Botany Bay. She is the founder of Maranatha House Ministries, a Georgia based nonprofit organization, and works with various organizations including Voices Against Trafficking and Catalyst Coalition.
