There she lives with her family in a small cottage and writes nerve-racking thrillers and crime novels for her readers. In her private life she likes to travel. At the age of eighteen, she traveled for six weeks with a backpack on her back through China, which was still adventurous at the time. Countries such as Nepal, Thailand and Sri Lanka followed. Lately, however, she has been more drawn to the United States, whose locations inspired her to write the thrillers in the Nat Porter series. She enjoys going to the movies, passionately cooking Asian dishes, especially Indian and Thai. Playing billiards and Tiny photography are also among her hobbies.
