Lon Wagner is a former journalist whose editors twice nominated his stories for the Pulitzer Prize, including once for a fourteen-part series about the yellow fever epidemic of 1855. He's won multiple national feature writing awards as well as National Motorsports Writer of the Year. He now runs communications for the Virginia Tech College of Science. He has three daughters and lives in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.
