Lori is the recipient of the 2014 Temple Grandin Outstanding Literary Work of the Year Award for her book, Leah's Voice. The Autism Society presents this award to books that positively affect the life of an individual or family member impacted by autism. Her articles have been published in Spectrums Magazine, The Autism Notebook Magazine, SEN Magazine, Autism Matters Ontario, Autism World Magazine, Autism Parenting Magazine, and Autism Spectrum Quarterly. Leah's Voice is a fictional story inspired by her daughter. Leah is a nationally award winning artist, and her artwork has been incorporated into various illustrations in the book by the illustrator. Her second book, Love for Logan, explains sensory processing disorder through a sister's heartwarming story.
