Luis Daniel Gascón

Daniel Gascón is Assistant Professor of Sociology at University Massachusetts Boston and director of the Alpha Phi Sigma chapter there. His work focuses on the intersections of race, crime, and justice. Beyond community policing, he has also written on urban gangs, juvenile punishment, and mass violence. Prof. Gascón earned his Ph.D. from the University of California, Irvine.
