Luis Nuño

Luis Nuño was born in Valencia (Spain) in 1963. He holds a Ph. D. in Telecommunication Engineering and is a Professor in the Area of Signal Theory and Communications at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. He also lectures for the University Master on Music and Scenic Arts, participating in the International Seminary on Artistic Research and the subject Electronic Technology and Contemporary Music. Thanks to his scientific and researching background, along with his interest in structuring his musical ideas, he has made important contributions in the theory of music. In this sense, he developed three abacuses summarizing Music Theory, Harmony and Improvisation, called respectively MUSICAL ABACUS, HARMONIC WHEEL and IMPROCHART(TM). He published 2 CD's of guitar music: Puesta de Sol (Sunset) in December 2010 and Sueños (Dreams) in May 2014.
