Luke Conway

A fellow scholar once tweeted that psychology professor and decorated researcher Dr. Luke Conway is “wicked good…brilliant…a sort of one man academic wrecking crew.” (Of course, the same tweet said he was “unassuming in person,” but hey, you can’t have it all.) In addition to his books, Luke is the author of over 95 articles, commentaries, and book chapters on the psychology of politics and culture, and his research has been featured in major media outlets such as the Washington Post, New York Times, Huffington Post, Psychology Today, USA Today, the Ben Shapiro Podcast, and BBC Radio. Luke’s full name is Lucian Gideon Conway III, a name he hated as a child but loves as an adult because it makes him feel like the crowned monarch of France, Israel, and England simultaneously. Nevertheless, he is commonly called “Luke” because a publisher convinced him that “Lucian Gideon” was the least marketable name of all time.
