Lyla Oweds is a paranormal/urban fantasy author who resides in the beautiful Pocono Mountains, Pennsylvania with her husband, children, and animals. While she enjoys all genres, she has a deep appreciation for fantasy, romance, mystery, crime, and horror. Lyla uses her stories to bring awareness and perception into the industry as a profoundly hard-of-hearing author. Lyla has a bachelor’s in anthropology, a master’s in information technology, and is working towards a third degree in psychology. She also works as a systems user specialist, a role that has honed her skills in technology, user experience, and accessibility. When not working, Lyla usually indulges in one of her many hobbies, such as amusing her children, gardening, crocheting, decorating, baking, cooking, or playing video games.
