Announced by Variety as one of 2021’s top emerging producers, Sisson-Talbert is currently developing numerous film and television projects, including the upcoming ABC sitcom Better Late. She recently inked a multi-year first-look film deal with Netflix after producing Netflix's first original live-action musical Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey, a twenty-year passion project she had developed alongside her husband David E. Talbert, who wrote and directed the film. Together, they have formed Golden Alchemy Entertainment to continue creating stories that entertain and inspire the world. As a companion to the film Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey, Sisson-Talbert authored three children's books. First, a middle grade book, Jingle Jangle: The Invention of Jeronicus Jangle, which also has an audio version narrated by Phylicia Rashad. Second, an illustrated children's book, The Square Root of Possible. With its sequel, The Perfect Gift: A Jingle Jangle Story, releasing later this year. Sisson-Talbert went on to Executive Produce Universal Pictures' Almost Christmas, starring Danny Glover, Gabrielle Union and Academy Award Winner Mo'Nique, guiding the film -- like Baggage Claim before it -- to the number one domestic comedy spot. In 2017, Sisson-Talbert served as an Executive Producer on Netflix's original film, El Camino Christmas, written by Academy Award nominee Ted Melfi and directed by David E. Talbert. Before transitioning to film, Sisson-Talbert built a groundbreaking producing career in theatre with eleven sold-out National tours and unprecedented distribution deals for her productions through DVD, Network, and streaming platforms. In 1998, mere months after graduating college, Sisson-Talbert's company, Golden Girl, Inc., managed a forty-member national touring production of the musical comedy, Mr. Right Now. With sold-out performances in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Atlanta, the achievement propelled Sisson-Talbert into producing with the record-shattering tour of His Woman His Wife. As a producer, Sisson-Talbert helped set the tone for the aesthetics of all aspects of the production, opening the door to another passion: costume design. In 2018, Sisson-Talbert received Costume Designer of the Year by the NAACP for her work on the touring production of Love Makes Things Happen, which she also produced, featuring new and classic songs by Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds. Additionally, Sisson-Talbert is credited for the global expansion of the Urban Theatre circuit by producing and filming the first-ever theatre production slated for retail, the 1998 production of Mr. Right Now.
