Like most writers, I'm an avid reader. I love books. Other than the obvious, a loving family, good health, etc., there are few things for me which are better than the pleasure of reading. I live in the midwest with my husband and a variety of pets. I love to travel and to meet new people. I write whenever there is a chance to do so. Housekeeping, unfortunately, is not high on my list of priorities and is done with the greatest of resentment. I would much rather have my mind swept away into creating a story for lively characters, not scouring things off a pan. I enjoy creating characters and stories full of love and laughter. Tears and pain are unavoidable. However, my characters are stronger than some of them believe, and often surprise themselves. Since having my first book accepted for publication in 2012, I've discovered that writing the book was the easiest part. Now there are webpages to create and hopefully not mess up too badly, as well as contemplating blogs, and tweeting (something I haven't done yet), to other forms of social media. I suppose all of it would be easier if I was a teenager with an affinity for it. It's all coming along, but slowly. For those of you who have purchased my books and enjoyed them, I will try to get it all together as soon as possible. Duct tape will help, right? I hope you continue to enjoy my stories.
