Māhina Zoe Marshall

Māhina Zoe Marshall is a poet, writer and ‘storian’ from New Zealand. Māhina writes poetry, short stories, children's stories and historical fiction. Her writing draws from a fusion of worldviews and beliefs, is often elemental and animistic, with themes of nature, ancestral imprints, history, consciousness and the mythical. A seeker of truth, the medicine of story and the ancient histories and mysteries of the world, Māhina has a deep reverence for nature, the animal world and our sacred Earth. Māhina loves her family, country life, growing Bonsai and fossicking through old bookshops. Her dog generally goes everywhere she does.
