Welcome to my author page. My name is Melissa Savino, and I am an author, writer, and self-publisher. I was born and raised in Elmira, NY. I have four children and two grandchildren. All the books I write have elements of truth built into them. Whether it is something that happened to me or someone I know. To me, it makes my books more personal and leaves the reader to wonder, did that really happen? Readers describe my stories as original and welcoming. I don't read books anymore. I haven't read one in over fifteen years. Because I don't read, my books will never be influenced or compared to any others. Everything comes from within—my own experience, thoughts, and beliefs. I always welcome reviews that leave feedback for me to read. This will help me improve my writing for future books and readers.
