A lifelong writer, Lima authored her first book at a very young age and has recently independently published the first installment in a Young Adult dystopian novel series entitled, THE KNOWING, now available in multiple formats on Amazon. In her free time, she loves to spend time with friends and family on the water or by the campfire. She enjoys renovation projects that breathe new life into forgotten objects, like the vintage camper she rebuilt in 2023. Lima’s book project, THE KNOWING, is not an ordinary book. It is the first piece of an interactive project that readers are invited to join. BOOK 1 of THE KNOWING series lays the foundation for the YA dystopian genre story and the phenomenon that makes the story possible. It builds the architecture of the narrative, but the deeper narrative and character development are yet to unfold. This is where the new type of reader experience comes into play – at the end of BOOK 1 readers are asked to respond via email. They have an opportunity to BE a part of the story by sharing thoughts about how they want to see the story unfold. Lima plans to weave in as many reader ideas as possible, using their feedback to write BOOK 2, and then do it all again for the next installment, and the next. It is a collaborative literary project unlike any other, and this is an exciting time to be a part of it all.
