Duffy Jones, DVM founded Peachtree Hills Animal Hospital of Atlanta, GA in 2005 and is treasurer and past president of the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association. He was a finalist for the 2015 America’s Favorite Veterinarian, an annual program of American Veterinary Medical Foundation. He has been an expert blogger for WebMD and Victoria Stilwell's Positively, and has been a guest veterinarian on Animal Planet's It's Me or the Dog. He serves as a resource to numerous animal rescue groups. His prior experience includes four years as a staff veterinarian in Cherokee County, serving at several local emergency clinics and an internship at Georgia Veterinary Specialists in Roswell. Dr. Jones received his DVM from Tufts University Veterinary School. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame. A native Atlantan, Dr. Jones grew up in Buckhead’s Peachtree Heights East neighborhood. He attended Christ the King Elementary School and Marist High School. He lives in Brookhaven with his wife Courtney, two sons and a daughter, their dogs Rosie and Milly, and cat Meatball.
