M. E. Silverman

M. E. Silverman (1970-) was born in New Jersey but grew up in Louisiana. His grandparents came over from Russia during the Russian Pogroms (think "Fiddler on the Roof"). He teaches college composition and edits the Blue Lyra Review (a literary journal that looks for writers and artists from a diverse array of backgrounds, paying special homage to Jewish writers and other communities that are historically underrepresented). He lives in Georgia with his daughter, wife, and Marie, the unwanted cat who daily breaks into the house through the heating vents.
