M. Keil Hackley

Keil is a retired lawyer. She worked as a federal government trial attorney and, later, in private practice with her daughter. Now, she's challenging herself by venturing into creative fiction writing to push her writing skills to the limit. She stepped out of her comfort zone by publishing five children's books, each written in the voice of her dog, Rosie, and her mini-horse, Gus. Each book is intended to inspire children never to give up. Her debut novel, UNDERCURRENT, is an inspiring story of an equine surgeon who escapes the clutches of her narcissistic husband.
