I have always loved to write but my passion started when I published a poem and received an Editor's Choice Award. I continued to write mostly children's books that was never what the publishers wanted. After my boys were in high school, I began writing my first book which I later published. When my first book was published, I received a lot of encouragement to write a follow-up book. Outside of writing I enjoy cruising, live theater, music (mostly classic) rock, outdoor activities, and time with my family.
