
Mark John Lado is a Filipino technology and education professional with a deep passion for advancing knowledge and innovation in the fields of Information Systems and Technology Education. An accomplished Information System Specialist, Mark excels in areas such as Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Teacher Mentoring, Computer Hardware, Software System Analysis, and Web Development. He earned his Master’s degree in Information Technology from Northern Negros State College of Science and Technology in Sagay City, Philippines, and is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Information Technology at the State University of Northern Negros. Mark has built a diverse career in education, holding various teaching and administrative roles. Currently, he is an Instructor in the College of Technology and Engineering at Cebu Technological University, San Francisco, Camotes Campus, where he has been serving since October 2022. Prior to this, he was a Faculty member in Business Education and Information Systems at Colegio de San Antonio de Padua from 2018 to 2022. He also worked as a Part-Time Information Technology Instructor at the University of the Visayas - Danao Branch in 2017 and as an ICT Coordinator at Carmen Christian School Inc. during the same period. A lifelong learner, Mark has pursued several certifications, including Computer Hardware Servicing from Cebu Technological University and Consumer Electronics Servicing from TESDA, showcasing his commitment to continuous professional development. Mark is an active member of the Philippine Society of Information Technology Educators (PSITE), where he contributes to advancing the standards of IT education in the Philippines. His research work reflects his dedication to innovation, with notable projects including "Development of a Microprocessor-Based Sensor Network for Monitoring Water Parameters in Tilapia Traponds" and "A Wireless Digital Public Address with Voice Alarm and Text-to-Speech Feature for Different Campuses," which was published in Globus: An International Journal of Management & IT. Beyond his teaching and research endeavors, Mark has authored and published multiple books on various technology topics, including PC troubleshooting, operating systems, embedded systems, and data modeling.
