Madeleine (Mellie) Pullman is a professor at Portland State University and director of the Business of Craft Brewing program. She teaches and researches craft beverage management as well as various supply chain management issues related to food and beverages. Prior to her academic life, she started microbrewery (Wasatch Brewery in Park City Utah) and did brewpub startups. She also was a landscape contractor, did solar and mechanical engineering, and worked in an eclectic series of jobs from quality management of mountaineering equipment to assorted restaurant and construction activities. She has consulted for breweries, cideries, malting facilities, ski resorts, airports, Cirque du Soleil, Nestle, and many other food and experiential companies. She has several books related to these subjects.
