With so many new frameworks appearing every day and so little time to learn and master them, as a developer, I found it hard to catch up with the ever evolving world of programming. The programming jobs are demanding and fast paced often one needs to learn a language or a framework over a weekend and start coding the following Monday. With technologies springing up every minute and so little time to learn, I found there's a need for no-nonsense, just to the point books on technical subjects. "If only I found a book that would teach me everything I needed in few hours, or a day or two. A book that instills the required confidence to start coding immediately" My aim is to deliver such books, a simple, straight-to-the-point and example driven books! A book that you should finish in few hours or a day or two! I started my journey of writing books with the publication of Just Spring, the first book on the subject aimed at delivering a light read on Spring Framework. The book has been well-received and inspired me to write more. I am a Java Developer working in London, primarily with investment banks and financial organisations. Started as a C / C++ Programmer, I have quickly learned Java while studying my Masters at IIT Kharagpur, India. I instantly fell in love with the language and never looked back. I enjoy writing books, technical papers, mentoring, reviews and of course speaking at seminars/webinars.
