Magdalena Galka

Magdalena Galka was born in Nürnberg (Germany) into a musical family, and started taking piano lessons at the age of four with her mother and later with her father, the renowned pianist Karl‐Heinz Schlüter (pupil of C.A. Martienssen and W. Gieseking). She studied piano at the college of music in Würzburg and Stuttgart. As a soloist as well as a chamber musician Magdalena Galka performs successfuls concerts in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Portugal and Sweden. A passionate pedagogue Magdalena Galka is successfully working as a piano teacher. As part of her teaching activities, the "Lagenbüchlein" was created in 2021, which does not require notes and offers beginners an easy introduction to piano playing. As an author, she has also published performance books, compositions and arrangements for piano.
