Maggie Weldon

Maggie Weldon (Margaret Buschmohle) was one of six children born in Detroit Michigan, to Irish/German parents. After learning to crochet in 4th grade from Sr. Marie Cecile, she crocheted for hours and used it to escape a difficult childhood. She started designing crochet patterns in 1981 and created thousands of patterns that have appeared in books, magazines, tv and her website: MaggiesCrochet.com. Maggie has produced over 1,000 How to Crochet YouTube videos and has almost 150,000 subscribers. Future plans include writing creative non-fiction books related to her journey out of a traumatic past and into a normal, panic, depression and drug free, fun life.
