We were in search of books with activities or coloring books for our kids, and sadly, we could not find a decent one in the market. So, we decided to make one of our own for our kids. And Yee Haa! And that's how Maky Publishing was born. Owned by a married couple, Martha and Martin. Maky Publishing designs books for kids and their families to enjoy a fun time together. The company started when the couple realized the dearth of decent books for their kids. Martha, an author who writes books for kids, and Martin, a graphic designer, decided to create coloring books to engage their kids in joyous and fruitful moments of learning and enjoyment. The couple wanted to bridge the gap of lack of engaging books to boost creativity among kids, as well as to complement the family fun time together. Maky Publishing is aimed at bringing out the creativity, artistry, and imaginativeness of kids, with a mix of fun. The company creates designs that bring life to the imaginations and ideas of children. Each book is tested with children for kids to interact and engage, inspiring them to create quality artistry, inventiveness, and ingenuity. We create designs, excited by the ideas of the kids themselves, to sparkle smiles, and help the kids to learn and grow. We aim for the kids to get off their devices and engage them in learning through imagination and mindfulness, through inquiry and eagerness, and more. And by ‘more,’ we mean helping to create inspiring minds. Educating young minds with colors, that’s what we are passionate about! We like nature, animals, gardening, and growing vegetables. All these things inspire us to create. Our ancestors taught us a lot, especially grandma and grandpa. They are the old-school generation. They have the most valuable information.
