Recipient of the 13th International Farabi Award (2022) on Humanities and Islamic Studies, Mansoor Limba is a writer, translator, university professor, chess trainer, blogger, and publisher. He is a PhD holder in International Relations and BA holder in Islamic Studies who writes and translates books (Persian into English and Filipino, English into Filipino) on such subjects as international politics, history, political philosophy, intra-faith and interfaith relations, preventing and countering violent extremism (PCVE), cultural heritage, Islamic finance, jurisprudence (fiqh), scholastic theology (‘ilm al-kalam), Qur’anic sciences, hadith, ethics, and mysticism. Limba is a KAICIID International Dialogue Centre Fellow and an alumnus of Clingendael (Netherlands Institute of International Relations) on Negotiation and Mediation in Conflict Resolution. He is also a columnist for Mindanews online news magazine (www.mindanews.com). As an aspiring entrepreneur, Limba has opened ElziStyle Bookshop (elzistyle.com) to publish his written and translation works.
